Exorcising Demons                      (a self portrait)
(December 2014)

I love colour and exploring the infinite world of possibilities that painting offers. I get immense pleasure out of capturing faces and landscapes (real or imagined), and sometimes allowing the paint itself to dictate the shapes and patterns that take hold on the canvas.

My renewed connection with art has transformed me. Brought me back to my roots, so to speak. I owe a great deal to my art teacher, Susan Ashbrook, for easing me into acrylic painting.

Painting is what I do after work and on weekends, and I look forward to it immensely. Painting brings light and love into my life. I sincerely hope that by sharing it with you, it brings some joy your way.
